Role of your organization in the project

As part of LEGOFIT’s multidisciplinary team of 20 partners across 10 EU countries, IES contributes its expertise in energy modelling, sustainability, and performance-based analysis to support the transition toward Energy Positive Homes (EPH). With a strong focus on decarbonization and efficiency, the company’s role centers on advancing the project’s mission of creating scalable and replicable solutions for sustainable construction and renovation.

IES leads the development of energy modelling for pilot sites in Turkey, Hungary, and Spain at the individual building level. By simulating building performance under various scenarios, IES provides insights to optimize energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. In collaboration with other partners, the company explores passive design strategies that enhance energy performance while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

IES also contributes to scaling up modelling to the urban level within the project, assessing the impacts of interventions at a broader scale and advancing toward the creation of Positive Energy Districts. Committed to fostering sustainable innovation, IES combines advanced technology with decades of expertise, empowering stakeholders to achieve a greener built environment.
